Hello and welcome!  My name is Claire.  I am originally from Austin, Texas (tacos) but have been living in Seoul, South Korea (kimchi) for a couple of years.  Kimchi Tacos follows my travels, adventures and food finds around the globe.

I am an English teacher at a hagwon (private English language institute) in Seoul and I also love knitting, taking photos, baking and gardening.  I'm a runner with a marathon in mind (someday) and I love yoga.

I am married to a wonderful human being, Mikey.  We were married on August, 13 2011 in Austin.  Shindig, his monthly dance party in Seoul, is the bee's knees.  He and I recently returned from an extended trip to India, Malaysia and Singapore and were previously living and working on an organic farm in Thailand.

We have two lovely children, Isabella and Ralf
